On 22 April 2026, an intensive and inspiring seminar was held in Warsaw, focusing on modern solutions in the design and safety of steel structures. The event brought together experts from the academic world, industry representatives and technology companies, creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
The agenda covered a wide range of topics – from structural design with regard to fire resistance, through current changes to Eurocode 3, to the formal and legal aspects and durability offire protection systems. The interdisciplinary nature of the presentations highlighted just how complex and demanding the approach to designing safe and durable steel structures is today.
Among the speakers was also a representative from ASMET. Tomasz Barczyński, Head of the Quality Control Department, presented the practical application of fasteners and tension rod systems in steel structures. The presentation attracted significant interest from participants, particularly due to the presentation of specific solutions affecting the safety and reliability of structures – both at the design and construction stages.
The seminar was not only an opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge, but also to engage in numerous informal discussions and networking, which constitute a vital element in the development of the entire industry.
