HISTORY

Asmet was founded in 1986, but the history of the Group dates back further. Fabryka Śrub Bispol S.A. was incorporated into the Asmet Group in 2004, but its beginnings date back to the 1880s.

Launch of a mechanical and casting workshop manufacturing nuts, bolts and aluminium radiators. The company employs 4 people.

1986

A breakthrough year in the company’s history. The shop and the fastener wholesale outlet are opened in Reguly near Warsaw. The company offers bolts, washers, nuts, screws, rivets and special bolts manufactured in its plant that has been operating for 6 years.

1992

The large-format shop offering metal products opens in Reguly. The company employs approx. 60 people – the employment has increased 15 times within 10 years.

1996

Obtaining the SGS-ICS certificate for the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9002:1994 in the field of the distribution of fasteners and technical items.

1997

The beginning of cooperation with August Friedberg GmbH. Asmet becomes the sole distributor of its HV bolt fasteners in Poland.

1998

The high bay warehouse and the control laboratory at the production hall open.

1999

The company shops open in Warsaw at Bartycka Street and in Zyrardow.

2000

Obtaining the State Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) authorisation for the production of fasteners for equipment subject to approval by the inspection authority, including pressure equipment.

2001

Obtaining the certificate for the Quality and Environmental Management System in compliance with ISO 14001.
Asmet becomes the majority shareholder in Fabryka Śrub Bispol S.A. Bispol is a factory with 120 years of tradition.

2004

Thanks to continuous development and investments, the Asmet Group employs almost 250 people.

2005

General overhaul at Bispol. Renovation of the hall, machinery, hardening furnace line.
Opening of the ASmet branch in Plock. Asmet obtains the Factory Production Control certificate (UDT-CERT).

2009

The Innovation and Implementation Centre hall and the research and measurement laboratory open in Reguly.

2010

Transformation of Asmet Artykuły Metalowe Andrzej Sajnaga into Asmet spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością S.K.A. (limited liability company).

2012

Opening of a new KANBAN warehouse in Reguly.

2013

Completion of the first edition of the Asmet Manager Academy – a series of trainings in management techniques. The consistent policy of improving the skills of the growing team of high and medium-level managers continues.

2014

Opening the second part of the KANBAN warehouse in Reguly.

2015

Completion of the Asmet Group’s largest investment – the Logistics Centre which can hold 20,000 tons of goods.

2018

Automation of the Moszna-Parcel Logistics Centre. In April 2019, TGW starts installing automatic racks in the Asmet warehouse in Moszna-Parcela.
